Living on an island in the Pacific Northwest, we are surrounded by lavender farms. This was inspired by one of our local lavender farms. Lavender is known for its endless healing properties including anxiety, insomnia and minor burns or bug bites. It has always been one of my favourite plants and scents. It is important in this smoothie to use Culinary grade lavender, not just lavender you pick from your garden. Refreshing and calming, it is perfect on a hot summers day.
