I am a lover of all things citrus and especially during citrus season. I love to highlight the bright flavours of the seasonal citrus with other antioxidant packed ingredients like ginger root. Citrus and ginger are bright spots that help get me through the dreary days of winter. The silly name for this smoothie comes from a rather hilarious song with a catchy tune from the early 2000's called "Tangerine Speedo". I always appreciate humour, and like citrus, it brightens my day and helps me get through even the worst of a winters day.
