When it is strawberry season it's important to have a number of simple strawberry recipes as strawberries spoil very quickly. Smoothies are another way to use up fresh strawberries, however I often make this with frozen strawberries. This smoothie will remind you of strawberry shortcake, so basically it's summer in a cup. I love adding Koyah freeze dried organic whole fruit and vegetable powders to my smoothies, not only for the health benefits, but also for the convenience. I find that when it comes to fresh lemons, it can be really hit and miss in terms of quality, and they can be expensive. So as a citrus lover having whole lemon powder on hand in my pantry is a must!
