I love to start my day with a smoothie. It helps me function so much better throughout the day and makes a tremendous difference when it comes to my gut health. Smoothie bowls are a great way to get even more nourishment and for many, they make a better stand alone breakfast than just smoothies alone. Another benefit is that they are so customizable as well. Just add whatever toppings you like such as more fresh fruit, seeds, granola, nut/seed butters and cereal and even chocolate chips or cacao nibs. The possibilities are endless.
