I am always looking for a way to incorporate seasonal ingredients, including fruit into my smoothies. As a great lover of cranberries, I love incorporating them into recipes as well. They really are nutrient powerhouses! I like to add adaptogens (herbs & roots that are said to help resist all kinds of stressors) like ashwagandha to my smoothies, as well as anti-inflammatory ingredients like fresh ginger root. This smoothie is packed with goodness, not to mention numminess, to get your day started in the right direction!
