Wild blackberries are not the easiest to obtain, with all the sharp thorns and spiders that like to set up shop next to the juiciest, biggest berries. However they are so worth it! They are loaded with antioxidants & anti-inflammatory properties and they just plain taste amazing. This spritzer is so easy to make and doesn't require heating or simple syrups. All you need is a blender and a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve. It can be made the day before and enjoyed the next day also. Blackberries are also naturally low in sugars and net-carbs so all this recipe requires for keto is to substitute your favourite liquid keto sweetener such as monkfruit sweetener or stevia.

Place blackberries in a blender and blend for a minute or two until pureed. Place puree in a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve and press the blackberry puree through. Squeeze as much of the blackberry juice out as possible. You will be left with blackberry seeds and the juice. Discard the seeds.
Place blackberry juice, maple syrup, lemon juice and pelligrino in blender and blend for a minute or so, until you have a frothy fuzzy beverage.
Pour into individual glasses and add some ice and more blackberries and serve. Any extra can be poured into a glass mason jar and enjoyed the next day. Shake well before pouring.
